We collect the following information when you use SABIGO: Full name, phone number, National Identification Number (NIN), email address, GPS location, device information, trip history, and payment information. NIN is collected solely for identity verification and is processed securely.
We use your data to match Riders and Passengers, process payments, improve safety, send ride notifications and alerts, and improve the SABIGO platform. We do not use your data for any purpose other than providing and improving our services.
We collect GPS location data during active rides for safety monitoring and fare calculation. You may disable location access in your device settings, but this will prevent you from using the ride-booking features. Location data is not stored after your trip is completed.
We share your name and phone number with your matched Rider or Passenger for the purpose of completing a ride. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We may share data with Nigerian regulatory authorities if required by law.
We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest. All user data is stored securely in Nigeria in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA). We conduct regular security reviews to protect your information.
